What really sets corporate entertainer/keynote speaker Devin Henderson apart, is his ability to help people discover their own magic. His lessons are beneficial in business and in life. Devin’s keynote presentations are tricked out with magic, humor and audience involvement. His entertaining style makes his message stick in the minds of spectators long after he has disappeared from the stage. Devin travels from Kansas City where he lives with his amazing wife and three beautiful daughters.
Though Devin excludes spiritual content from his corporate shows, he also offers programs designed specifically for faith-based organizations. In case you’re interested, this is Devin’s spiritual perspective…I believe the solution to our deepest emotional need is fellowship with God. I also believe God created each of us with a specific plan, and ultimate fulfillment is found in, first, discovering Him, second, accepting His fellowship, and third, living out His (customized) plan.My goal is striving to love people in a way that turns them to God, because I believe His love is what every person seeks. "Mind Madness", his mentalism (i.e-mind-reading) show is literally an unbelievable experience that will make you laugh out loud and at the same time…totally weird you out! While blindfolded with several layers of duct tape, Devin can tell you the brand of your chapstick and the serial number on your dollar bill! But the craziest thing is when, with permission, he starts revealing people’s personal information at random: anniversaries, childhood memories, and so much more! You have to see it all to believe it – but even then you probably won’t believe it.
Devin gets no help from “plants” in the audience or even supernatural powers. He accomplishes his insanely cool feats w/two primary principles: observation and deception. "Mind Madness" is scary fun with lots of laughs and non-stop audience participation. It is perfect for the skeptics of magic. This show is designed for adults, but squeaky-clean in content.
You also have access to Devin's Comedy-Magic show, a more traditional kind of magic show where he spits playing cards out of his mouth and shoves a ballpoint pen in and out of every hole in his head. Okay, maybe “traditional” is the wrong word, but you get the idea. Just think of this show as stand-up comedy with a bag of tricks. And what tricks!! Devin puts an audience member’s cell phone inside a balloon. He performs a hilarious Houdini-style handcuff escape, pulls a rose out of a ball of fire, and burns a borrowed $100 bill only to find it later in the show in a totally bizarre location. But the crowd’s favorite, and a reputation maker for Devin, is when he inflates a balloon animal type balloon and swallows it whole! And volunteers beware: Devin is an accomplished pickpocket! He’ll have your watch, wallet, cell phone and neck tie before you can say “Abacadabra!” One audience member said it best: “This show is a non-stop roller coaster of illusions and laughs!”
